On January 30th 2008 at 10:00AM, Dr. Fudin will appear on Schenectady Today [a local television show] where he will be interviewed by former teacher and colleague, Ann Parillo. Dr. Jeffrey Fudin, B.S., Pharm.D. represents the Albany College of Pharmacy (ACP) and Stratton Veterans Administration Medical Center. He will appear on the show to discuss chronic pain management, the pros and cons of various prescription medications and he will include discussions on the dangers of self-medicating with over-the counter non-prescription analgesic drugs. Dr. Fudin is a two time graduate of ACP where he is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor. He is a board certified Diplomat to the American Academy of Pain Management. He was a peer reviewer for recently established American Pain Society Clinical Practice Guidelines for Arthritis, for Fibromyalgia, and for Cancer Pain and Palliative Care, and he is now working on a collaborative project between the American Pain Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine to establish national guidelines for medical practitioners to appropriately treat chronic non-cancer pain with narcotic medication.
